Is this normal?

When I run DXdiag and look at the Network page, it lists 2 flight simulators.  One just says Flight Simulator, the one below it says MS flight Simulator 2004.  Whats interesting is that both say it is version 9 and they have the same registry entry.  I dont have any other flight sim on this computer.  Can anyone please check what yours says and let me know.  Thankyou, Todd

Interesting. If you will look inside your Fs9 folder you will see three flight sim programs. There's Fs9.exe FS2000.exe and FS2002.exe. I haven't the slightest idea why FS 2004 needs the other two but they are there. Clicking on them doesn't do anything except for the Fs9.exe which starts FS 2004.

Its because flight sim is technically just an update of the previous version, rather than something completly new. I believe.

The other exe's are mainly there for compatability with install programs (originally written for older FS versions) that will look for them to know where to install.
