A NO CD .exe for those of us who have the MS Patch (FS9.1) is now available here: http://www.megagames.com/cracks/html/c910930_0.htm. I have tested and deemed it safe and functional but remember: BACK UP YOUR ORIGINAL FS9.EXE!

WARNING

This site is also offloading what appears to be an advertising pop-up system. I recommend you don't go there without something like SpybotS&D being installed and active.

Heya CHOMP_ROCK,

Thanks for the link.  I've been using my FS 2004 Install CD #4 since the FS 9.1 patch came out.  I didn't know if the FS 9.1 patch would work with the old No CD .exe.  I didn't want to take any chances so I've been using the FS 2004 Install CD #4.  Now I can give it a rest!

Thanks again,

Dave

"Game copy world" has it on many servers.
http://www.gamecopyworld.com/

You will have to navigate through a few simple menues to get it but, it's very simple.

When you get to the game copy world server of your choice, just open the "pc game index" on the right hand side.....it's under "F' and it's listed under "Flight Similator 2004"

It appears to be the same exact exe that mega games posted. I`m using the 9.1 vers

Well maybe I am lucky or it is a fluke, but I have no problems with the update from M$ I was using the no cd patch at the time when I installed the update from M$. I have had no problems what so ever. I just installed the update and went about buisness as usuall.
At the time I installed this update I was running windows XP service pack 1. I have not felt like I need to install service pack 2 since the system I have FS2004 on is not connected to the internet and from everything I have either heard or read service pack 2 is mostly about security so why bother. I do have the install cd for service pack 2 if for some reason I find out I need it to run some programs with. But untill that time I do not see any need to do so. 8)

Yeah.
I just picked up a copy of "Pacific Fighters" yesterday and guess what?
You need a CD inserted to play the *#%* thing! >:(

BTW it`s a great combat sim, particulary with the new patch..... the water animation with the patch is fantastic!
MS..... please take note! ;)
