Hi TX.......You can move the viewpoint in th VC from the keyboard ....for example control+shift+backspace moves you left..Shift + Enter and Shift+backspace moves you back or forwards..etc....look on the kneeboard in the VIEW section..just to LOOK around use the Numpad...Is that what you wanted..commoner ;)

To move around the CABIN you have to downlode Active Camera from Anticyclone(http://www.anticyclone.be) The downlode is just a demo that works only in the Seattle area (KSEA).
If you wan't to use it anywhere you have to pay $15.
Follow the instructions in the manuel in the Active Camera folder. ;)

Hope that anwsers your questions!

If you don't want to pay for it there's a freeware option from Flight 1. Active Camera comes with some nice options that make it well worth the money like a good flyby view, padlock for aircraft and ground, head shake in bumpy air, walk around (outside the airplane) and a lot of others.

If all you want is to move around the cockpit however then the Flight 1 utility is your ticket. It was developed for the flight 1 aircraft but it works in any airplane and they offer it to anyone for download.

The 21 Mb file is the service pack for the Flight 1 ATR (fantastic aircraft by the way). The F1 view utility is the download below that. (742 Kb)  ;D

I downloaded the F1View Utility that was 742KB, and it works. But when i move my mouse wheel back it leaves the cockpit but there is no cabin with seats to play around in. It is las if it left the plane and its just a floating cockpit on the runway. Is there a download to see the seats and walk around the plane and stuff because i seen the pictures of it and it looks fun. Please tell me what i need. Thanks

If you're doing it in the default fs planes, the virtual cabin isn't modelled. You have to have an aircraft that has a virtual cabin.

Here, for one :)

avsim.com is also good. For both here and there, just put "virtual cabin" into the search engine and you'll get plenty of planes that have one.

You'll just have to search around. There are a number of planes with a virtual cabin but not all do. One that's particularly nice is the Tupolev TU-114. It has a complete virtual interior. Lot of payware airplanes with a virtual cabin if you want to pay the cash. The one I mentioned above Flight 1 ATR has a virtual cabin and is a fantastic airplane with very realistically modeled systems It even has a virtual toilet that flushes.

Depends on the plane....

If you want a plane with a spectacular Virtual Cabin, try the Tu-114!

The Lockheed Electra and Howard 500 also have great Virtual Cabins.

So does the Simtech Beech18!

Very interesting, I was just thinking about the same thing, Virtural cockpits. So I came here and was checking out the links on the front page and found this, http://www.simviation.com/fspremierairc ... 20904.html

Talk about some usefull things and a very nice layout. But I have not downloaded anything from there, nor am I pilot, so what do I know.

How about some input about this site and there d/l ?
