Downloading Planes

Hi, i have just downloaded a B52 from the download section and added the files into the aircraft folder as instructed on the readme text. 'Please etract the folder of B-52 into the aircraft folders(B-52_GMAX and B-52H_GMAX) of FS9.'

but i cant see it on the list.

could you tell me how to use this aircraft please.

Hi alexhimself .maybe if you said exactly which file you downloaded, then somebody would be able to help....commoner ;)

Please take my tip & ignore all advice/instructions to extract zipfiles direct to the sim. I wouldn't mind betting that if you look for the extracted folder it will be in the wrong location or hidden inside another folder. In either case it cannot possibly work. May I suggest you follow the method shown in the aircraft install tute for all aircraft. http://www.simviation.com/acinstall.htm Extract the zipfile to a Temp folder first, then find the correct "Aircraft Container"  folder to paste into the sim. Then you will know just where to look if there's a problem. You can use Cut & Paste instead of Drag & Drop to install the files if you wish.
