Frame rates

Hi guys
i cant help noticing how the frame rates are in fs9 compared to fs2002 my question was is would i improve my frame rates if i use the fs2002 textures and if no is there anywhere i can download textures or anything else that will improve my frame rates in fs9

Google "FS9 Tweaks" and then do as many as you're comfortable with. Also download "FSAutoStart" and use that to launch FS9. You should notice a difference.

inre: framerates, everything,(generally) on a computer that is on the HARD DRIVE should run faster than on a disk. The hard drive turns at ten times the average cd speed, so are you flying off a hard drive or off the fs disk?

FS9 doesn't run off the CD. The CD is used to load the game, PERIOD. The idea is, everyone who installs the game must have their own copy of the game. As we know, there has been a way to get around needing the CD to play the sim. But again, the sim is never played off the CD!
