Well, I noticed your "Oh never mind" edit, so what solution did you use?
I like using Project AI, I downloaded every carrier available in the US, and now my airports are wonderfully loaded with all sorts of realistic flight routes. I don't believe that PAI has WWII aircraft, but there are about 6 military transport squadrons available to add to PAI.

You download the main PAI program, move it to a folder somewhere, and then just download whatever airlines you want. Once they're downloaded, right-click on them, choose 'Open With' and then 'Choose Program'. Then click browse, find the PAI Program, be sure and click "Always open with this program" (Or whatever it says), then click ok.
After that all you have to do is double-click the downloaded airline routes and they will automatically be added.
