Try the freeware alternative its called FDSConnection and is available at
http://www.flightdecksoftware.comThis should enable the radar to work

Are you sure you've installed the radar correctly? I've not had any trouble with any models using radar...

I have general and Airline trafic cranked up the the max. Ozzy, What would I have to do to install radar? I use F16.gau , All I did was move the gauge to the fs9 gauge folder.

if you use F16.gau you will need to register it in FSUIPC (it is free see on his forum he give a bunch of key)
then you should get AIbridge and register it FREE again. same place. you got the key for f16.gau
then log you AIbrige on to you FS9 server then connect you fs9 to the server and voila you should see airplane in the apache or f16 or any other that use this gau.
hint you could modifie a plane to use it....

If you are using the F16 panel by Eric Marciano (fullf16pnl.zip) you need to install it by the instructions included with the panel.
BUT if the F16 you are refering to is the one by Kirk Olsen you must use the "panel.cfg" provided by Kirk not the one that came with the panel itself

well, I'm using just the gauge called f16.gau. it came with a tomcat panel . I am however using the panel from here called F16pnlem.zip . I am not using the panel file that came with it, should I?

This is what I am doing.

That may be the problem. Kirks plane was designed to use a panel by Eric Marciono you can find it here:
http://63.217.28.218/files/1panels/fullf16pnl.zipIn one of the "read me" files it gives instructions on what to do, you need to use the "panel.config" that is supplied by Kirk instead of the one that came with the panel

edit: You do need FSUPIC for the radar to work

okay, I'll let you know how it works when It's done downlaoding. but shouldn't the gauge work as it's own device? I mean, in other pannels?
