... I'd be very surprised if M$ is in anything other than the really early conceptual planning of such a program... .
We wish we could show you a bustling assembly line stamping out airplanes and scenery, but, alas, the rumble of our industry is the tapping of keyboards and clicking of mice.
It is true, however, that like manufacturing on an assembly line, work on Flight Simulator never really stops. Long before one project is out the door, planning and design have already begun on the next release. We're always working on the next version of Flight Simulator.
