AI and GMT time

Hi
Noticed today that all my AI flights are landing/departing at all airports at GMT only. I thought after compiling that FS made the adjustments for time zones.
I have the traffic SDK tool, and in the explorer function it shows sim time as GMT even when at USA airports. Is this normal?
I'm using Ultimate Traffic too.
Regards
Graeme

Could you clarify exactly what you mean, are you refering to the traffic density? If you're not talking about traffic density, GMT (zulu) time is what pilots use anyway. ;)

They always depart at the given (zulu) time - the only adjustments to time are the arrivals based on flight type when the flight plans are compiled.

Hi Guys
Sorry, I'll explain myself better.
It's probably an Ultimate Traffic 04 issue, but I can't get any answers at ttheir forum.
If you generate a timetable for a USA airport with UT04, JFK for example, and it says a flight will depart at 9am, you have to set the time to 9am GMT, which is 3am in the morning at jfk. In other words the flights are supposed to operate to the schedule which is given in local times, but are ignoring it and operating at GMT only.

Graeme

There are flippin dozens of time zones around the world - how do you expect the sim to 'correct' every one?
There is only one STANDARD time - and that's GMT. It applies everywhere - including the USA.
Sorry if that's surprising and that it's not an American idea

I'm only using a USA airport as an example.
Last week my flights in UT04 moved according to the scheduled time. Now they move according to GMT only, no matter where you are in the world.
Last week a 9am flight left JFK at 9am. This week it leaves at 3am!
Just wondered if others had come across this?
Many Thanks
Graeme

Dont use either traffic program, UT04 or the Traffic Toolbox SDK (I only use TTools), but it sounds like you may have inadvertantly re-compiled your trafficxxx.bgl.
While UT4 may show flights in user friendly local time, the trafficxxx.bgl is always compiled using GMT.
Example: if UT04 uses a flightplan source or destination files that contains local times that are automatically converted to GMT when compiled or called, and you apply the TTSDK to that file, TTSDK will assume the times are GMT.
May be way off, but just a thought.
Cheers,
Dave

Thanks Dave.
I have deliberately recompiled several times using the UT04 compile function, having imported new airlines into UT04. Maybe something has gone wrong there. Hopefully I can find out directly from UT04 forum.
Cheers
