Don't have one in my modules folder...there's SOUND.dll but no gaugesound.dll...apparently certain downloaded aircraft need one to function. Just type gaugesound.dll into your Internet browser and it comes up with loads of info on it. commoner

I have GaugeSound.dll installed. I have no idea what it does & don't remember where I got it. I might have tried it when investigating this problem for someone else. I do know that mine is in the FS9 root folder & not FS9\Modules for some reason. Again I can't remember why but it seems to work.

You may also have to enter this into the FS9.cfg to prevent crashing/error messages:
[OldModules]
GaugeSound.dll=1
