i need to install the PAI installer but my computer wont let me i keep getting this message. I just get this message saying ttools should be in the same folder as PAI. At the top it says FATAL ERROR. im runnin windows xp with sp2 i think.

If I rember corectly what you need to do is to have the files that the pai installer is going to install in the same folder as the installer. I know there is a read me file that tells you how to do this. You can always go to the PAI web site there are instructions there as well.
But the other issue is SP2 this patch has caused people all kind of problems and frankly you do not need it as long as you have a good virus detection program.
It is easy to find out if you have service pack 2 just check out your system info.
Service Pack 2 can be unistalled. I know for a fact it effects some programs and stops them from running correctly. It can even effects your abality to play dvd's and cd's on your system. My son had simalr problems unistalled SP2 and the problems cleared up.

No Garymbuska..you can point the installer to wherever the file happens to be....I usually do mine from the desktop which is where I download to...once installed in the aircraft folder you can then delete the one on the desktop.....commoner.  

    PS. This doesn't help with ace's problem but just thought I'd mention it...
