help Please

Postby Bruce » Tue Dec 07, 2004 10:14 pm

I am currently running fs9 on my machine but got fustrated with the frame rates i am getting so i decided to go back to fs2002. the problem is when i am installing 2002 i get all sort of sceenry error. then after it is loaded and i go to the default megis field the sceenry is all screwed up if a try to pan to the left or right i see the pannel, the buildings and trees seems as if they are in water or mid air. But with fs9 at the same air air port it looks good but just low frame rate. can some one help me please. I have both fs9 and 2002 on the same drive i dont know if thats a problem.

First, list your system specs.  Those will be key in determining  any bottlenecks.

Second, google "FS9 Tweaks" and play around a bit.  You'd be surprised at what you can do.  (Back up your FS9.cfg file first!)
Great edit, Bob.

Google it.
