DC-3 Nav dial

Postby sir_knight57 » Sat Dec 04, 2004 7:48 pm

Is there any way to be able to actually read the DC-3's Nav dial so that a sim pilot can be confident with knowledge of its use while trying to fly from one VOR to another, and what about the ADF?

I have tried for many days to patiently click once [right or left] of the desired signal for its use and wait to hear the morse code verification, but once again I can not read the dials on the radio stack to know what frequencies I am trying to tune to and after several seconds I hear no audio.  Yes, I have the audio dial turned ON and my external spkrs, as well.   ::)  Thanks to all that reply  :)

I have often gone into the aircraft.cfg or panel.cfg files and "traded" radio presentations w/one that was more readable or more useful. Maybe you can try that.
