..After watching the popular (and great) film con-air, I was inspired to download the 'jailbird' aircraft they use (couldnt find it and dont even know the correct manufacturer or model name :( ) so I wasnt off to the best start, and then goto Learner Airfield, significantly features in the film. So I gave up with finding the plane and just looked for the airfield. I cannot find it ANYWHERE! I have looked through all the US airports  and I cant find it. So does anybody know if this place is fictional or has a different, proper name?

Thank you in advance

The plane they used is a Fairchild C123. You can download it here. The USCG is a nice repaint. You got me on the airfield though. I would say that as the main action was 'Vegas, look for a military base near there.

Didn't learner airfield look like a boneyard in the movie?  Try looking up boneyard airfields around Las Vegas also.
