I have installed and re-installed FS2004 several times on my computer that has the following:
1.8Ghz P4 Intel
2.0 Gig Ram
4 x 80 Gig HD
256 Ram Grfx card GeoForce 4
M-Delta Audiophile sound card SPDIF
The splash screen comes on . . . hourglass trades off for the cursor arrow and that is all the farther it goes. How do i check for conflicts in the IRQ or what other things do i need to check for in order to get me off the ground. Immediate replies would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

What windows are you using?
Which splash screen are you using default or one that generates random splash screens. If this is one that uses random splash screens make sure that the file that launches that program is in the FS2004 root folder.
If this is the default splash screen I do not have a clue I would suggest you contact M$ about that.

Has this allways done this or has somethng been changed or added to your system lately.
Are you using servivce pack 2 or did you recently install service pack 2. If this is something that just statred I would recomend you try using system restore to go back to when you last rember it ran ok and see what changes were made between then & now. It could be something that you have added recently that is presenting the problem.
Like Jordanj said check your event viewer it might shed some light on the subject.
