Flight-loading contretemps

For reasons unknown, once a flight is created and flown and saved, on attempting to use the flight a second time the flight loads up to 12% (exactly) and then the program stops responding.
No variable seems to be directly responsible. And if an identical flight is created again, the new flight loads perfectly. But if the new flight is saved and then reopened at a later session, 12% is the limit of loadup.
Nothing to do with the add-on aircraft evidently, but perhaps a result of the much-added add-on scenery.
Can anyone suggest why these created flights can only be flown once, then not at all after they have been saved?
Many thanks for any technical insights available.

Hmm... whenever a problem like this occurs, I always go and delete my last saved game and it usually seems to help, but I'm not sure how many flights you've saved since the problem.

Thank you for your prompt and helpful response to my inquiry.  This is a problem that seems to spring up after I load some additonal scenery; not the first or second item, but perhaps a third or fourth (I've been loading some excellent programs from France VFR that show Quiberon, Belle Isle, etc.)
I'll try removing all the saved flights and see if this does the trick.
Thanks again for your consideration.

If you have saved the flight using Real World weather, your FS9 may jam due to a slow internet connection. Try re-saving a known problem flight without using the Real time weather. Good luck :)

Thanks much! A splendid idea. I'll check the weather settings immediately.
