Hello everybody,

   This is funny that Mooney Bravo is the only aircfrat i never managed to have nice fligts with,i mean it is impossible to have it manually keeping its route , takes degrees constantly one side or another ant trim setting ends too much or not enough have tried everything possible i know but  unsuccessfully.I would greatly appreciate if someone could tell me what i could try to solve matter.

...just took a short flight..first ever....a bit "twitchy" at first but soon got the hang of it...Yes, seems fine as BBW says....sorry yvon can't really help

yvon, any aircraft that i really  like and cannot get to "behave" I look for a similar plane that does fly nicely, from my own stable, and copy it's air file, renaming it, to the offending one after deleting the original. You might try , say , the air file from a Cherokee or Bonanza that handles well.

I too have had a hard time triming and flying this sprited beastly plane, Mooney Bravo.  I finally solved the problem by adjusting a couple of things. First, I used to try trim it at full throttle now works better at about half trim and then add more throtte. Second, I adjsuted the repeat rate of the trim to half.
Now the Mooney flies better but always needs a little trim.
Hope this helps. A SIM instructor with FS Ultimate II said to fly a Mooney is the closes we can get in a prop plane to a small jet.

  Well,i need to experiment as you explained  but i'm afraid mooney bravo is one of the acft that is hard to fly correctly!!!even more powerfull and multi engines like beechcraft are easy to fly,at least they hold the course.

Mooney is normal. short airplane powerfull engine. it makes it easy to flip up or down. if you are flying online dont touch your aircraft.cfg onless you dont care if any one see you as something that you are not flying.

the suggestion to make the ajustement with trottle is correct. ajust trim then fine une with trust control. part of the normal procedure. rpm ajust (feather), fuel ajust (lean mixture), trim, trust for fine tune. the correct course as needed.

Any way you will never see a plane flying as if it was on pavement. you need to keep your hand on it. or turn on autopilot.

I love the mooney bravo. its wierd, I download planes everyday, and the mooney is still one of my favorites. I havnt had any problems controlling it, I find it best to trim only after reaching cruise speed (160 KIAS), use auto-pilot and GPS for those long flights. I just started an around the world flight with it.

If you fly it for any length of time and don't switch tanks.. it's a handful.. Even it you just take off.. fly around for 1/2 hour, you'll think there's a stiff crosswind on landing... unbalanced fuel load.. dontcha know.

Were can I get those four liveries of the Mooney you say are great by Jean -Jacque Parels? And are the free addons and have good Avionics too?

From my experience with the Mooney, I think Brett's post is the root of the problem.  The Mooney is the only one of the default aircraft that doesn't have a "both" selection for the panel's fuel tank selector switch, so you are constantly draining fuel from one wing or the other, shifting the plane's balance.
