ATC won't say kingair or baron

Postby beefhole » Sat Nov 27, 2004 5:52 pm

I was recently messing with my default planes and the airlines.cfg file in order to replace the default 737, 747 and 777 with repaints of real-world airlines.  When all is said and done, ATC won't say kingair or baron, which is odd considering that shouldn't be affected by editing the airlines.cfg and I haven't been messing with those two.  I've been over the aircraft.cfg a million times.  Could someone post (or e-mail) their .cfgs for the baron and the kingair please?  I'd appreciate it, thanks.  Also, just to be safe, could someone who has a clean (none of the default names deleted) airlines.cfg post it as well. Thanks again.

Beefhole just copy them off your FS9 CD. No-one can email you them as that is illegal!

Check the aircraft.cfg's for ..atc_type=Baron and KingAir.

For a complete FS2002

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
