Too soon to say with that...Remember that the cards need to be made for it in order to take advantage of it...not to mention the software you use.

Unless you already have PCI Express in your machine don't be so quick to jump on the bandwagon.  Rule of thumb, don't try anything as soon as it comes out (let let others play the Guiena Pig first)...

Also, keep in mind that the main advantage of PCI-Express is increased texture bandwith.
It wont make anything look better.

Presentlly, even FS-9  can not advatage of the increased bandwith and can do quiet nicely with a well configured, AGP sys.

However, future programs will need and/or take advantage the added bandwith.
It's just a question of when.


Personally, I`m still running an old Granit Bay chipset  MOBO (ASUS P4G8x) with an x800 pro and I`m not going to upgrade until PCI-Express matures bit an things get sorted out.
It runs FS-9 very well  (with everything maxed out) and other titles as well such as HL-2 with absolutly no stutters, etc.

PCI Express concerns texture bandwith/loading and will have little to do with increased FPS.

The one thing it could do is smooth out the frame rates and eliminate any stutters or pauses as texture load.

They are not as important as you think!  smoothness of the sim is they answer! removing stutters etc as said above.  If your machine is setup properly you could drop to 15FPS and it still fly smoothly with no stutters etc hence you dont really notice you are at 15fps unless you have the FPS showing!
