ARFFguy@hotmail.com Thanks. (oh one more thing. I was flying my default 737 after replacing the textures so the defaults are american, delta, united, us air, continental and no in spot view, my nav lights and strobe and beacon only work for about 10 seconds then shut off. anyone heard of that before??? let me know. Hope to hear from you soon. Take Care and Stay safe everyone. ~Brent

problem one
You can get the orignal effects off of disk 1 gameone.cab
Just unzip it to anywhere EXCEPT FS2004.Once unzipped you can drag the effects folder over into fs2004 and overwrite. BUT BEWARE YOU WILL LOOSE ANY EFFECTS YOU ALTERED.
Problem TWO
It sounds like your battery is going dead and you have not turned on any generators. Just like your automobile if you leave the lights on without the engine running it will kill the battery.
Same thing applies in aircraft only differance is you sometime have to turn on a generator with a switch so even if the engine is running if ther is a switch and you do not turn it on your battery will die on you. 8)

thanks for the info, however, one, I forgot to mention that I can't seem to locate my disks right now. still looking...two, it's not the generators, I appreciate what you said about them but I knew that, and they are one, the light issue happens every time I switch to spot view. I switch they are on for about 10 secs then go off, I go back to cockpit then switch again, they are on for about 10 secs then go off. so it's not the generator.
