Scenery Problems

I upgraded all my drivers today. Now when I fire up FS9 the white buildings start flashing. When I go to spot view the white cessna also flashes. All other colors seem to be stable.
I have tried every setting on display all to no avail  ???
What to do?  By the way I fired up FS2002 and it works perfectly. So the problem must be in FS9 !

Thanks,

Chief

What's your graphics card type. I had problems with the newest Nvidia drivers. Luckily I set a restore point just before installing. I've heard others have had similar problems. If at all possible try going back to the older drivers. Since updating drivers is what you did just before this started that is likely the problem.

Hi MattNW,
I have a RADEON 9200. Is that a Nvidia product? Even if not maybe I should do a restore? What do you think?

Chief

You have an ATi product btw.

Be sure completely uninstalled the previous drivers before you installed the new ones, I ran into my first problem with an Nvidia card since 1998 earlier this week, and it was because I didn't uninstall my old drivers first. I never uninstalled old drivers first, never had a problem, until this time.... I guess it finally caught up with me. :D

So try uninstalling your drivers completely, then reinstall.

Hi Skilgmund,

Would it be  a problem to uninstall the original drivers, if I already upgraded?  Would I use the install/uninstall program to do that?

Thanks,

Chief
