When i go into this mode all i get is the top of the panel and view out of top of captains windscreen. Is this correct? I seem to remember you could see the whole of the panel in this mode as though you where stood at the back of the flightdeck.

Use your hat switch to pan l/r and up/down. (Keypad if you do not have a pov hat switch

Various key combinations of Ctrl and/or Shift + enter/bkspace or -/= keys will move you around in the VC

Cheers,
Dave

Look in Options>Controls>Assignments, select View Commands and look for Eyepoint (*) assignments to see specific key combos.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

Also, zoom it out.  This is a must. I'm always at .62. Use the + and - keys.  To zoom it out just a little, hit shift + plus and shift + minus.
