Is there a way to make it more realistic

I wish the the default ones like the b777 to touchdown at 150kias and not at 180 for not getting in stall, the flaps seems like hasn't been extended  enough,or the b747,and the brakes they stop almost like a bus,in real life is not like that they are not so eficient ,i prefer the default ones because i only flight in VC,and there are no other virtual cockpits than fs9 default plane, does anybody know how to change these default dinamics, into more realistic?

Hello, first off what is your fuel quantity when you land?  Your landing weight has alot to do with your landing speed.  In a B747 when you take off full gross your vr speed is like 180kias let along your approach speed which would probaby be close to 200kias,(actually they would have to dump fuel before they could land if they had to right away) After a 12-14 hrs trip you burn off enough fuel that your landing speed is around 145-155kias.  As for 3rd party aircraft there are alot of very nice heavies out there with VCs.  Try Projectopensky, IFDG, Meljet, FFX/SGA.  Hope this helps, Cheers!!

I too am not totally thrilled with the flight dynamics of the heavies.  They don't seem to fly realistically under one engine and they don't seem to behave properly in a stall.  I've never actually flown one so I don't know.  But given my knowledge of basic physics it just doesn't "seem" right.  I'm not so concerned about realistic landing speeds, but I'd like the planes to behave properly under "outside the envelope" conditions.  Of course that's probably a problem with every plane in FS9.  Man, I miss the old Flight Unlimited flight model.

Also, anyone else have a problem in the default 747 where you need about five degrees nose up angle to hold altitude?  I had that problem the other night (just started flying the heavies in earnes).  It may have been because I was trying to cruise at too high an altitude at too heavy a fuel configuration.  But it may also have been the flight dynamics.

The B747 flies like that it isn't a problem.  As the flight goes on you will notice (not much) that it will start to level out as it gets lighter.

Really?  Like in real life it flies like that or everyone's default MSFS one flies like that?  In real life I'd assume that would be horribly inefficient aerodynamically.  I've only flown on a 747 once (boy, what a ride!) and didn't notice any nose up attitude (although this would be very hard to discern from a window seat in coach).

5 degrees pitch is a little exscessive, creating too much form drag, rather descend some thousand feet where you can cruise with 2-4 degrees upward pitch.
Like pointed out earlier, all the aircrafts cruise with a slight upward pitch (I know I have answered that question like 5 times here  :) )
As fuel burns of the pitch will eventually decrease, another way to decrease the pitch is to increase the speed, but if you're too heavy that will be impossible  :)

When I saw this post I thought it was going to be about making it seem more like you are flying an airplane and not sitting at your computer. for that, go to www.flypfc.com, where the crazey people shop. if you were to by a complete cockpit setup, you would have spent more money than you would if you had just bought a real airplane.

pitch in 'level' flight is around 5 degrees

anything higher gives problems with the food trolleys

actually, anything higher than that will cause the stabilizer NOT to be streamlined with the airflow, thus creating unnecessary drag.
It's preferable to cruise below 5 degrees upward pitch. This in turn allows the aircraft to be operated at its optimal thrust setting to obtain the maximum range, without having to waste engine thrust to compensate for drag. Obviously this wont really work in a T-tail configuration

[quote]the 737 in general, has a 3degree pitch in level flight, and most other commercial jets (767, 747 etc) flies similar to that, but they don't go as high as 5 degrees, that is not desirable
