Yep. I use autopilot a bit if it comes with the aircraft.

One thing I do however, is after I get ready for work in the morning, I pick a plane, normally a slower one, like a DC-3 or modern prop, take off, reach about 14 thouand feet, pick a direction, and turn on the autopilot with heading set, then when I get home, I go up to my PC, find out where I am, go in for a landing and have found some great airports this way. I do however have to turn on unlimited fuel when I am leaving for work. Its cheating, but I sit here and think about my virtual pilots at home flying somewhere while I pound away at the keys at my job.

Presently I have MAAM's Douglas amphibian flying out of Emma, headed in a N NE direction. Should be in Canada by now

I don't know where you get the money for all that payware Savas.

I use the autopilot on long haul flights and on big jets. Just like in real life, these things can almost don't need a pilot.

I have a decent job ;) and sell a number of things on eBay.

recently two gaming beta accounts that I have no time to play, which grossed a total of $700 all of which went into my simming and thats probably why Pete made me SIMviation Payware Editor lol

There are ways of making money without working. Just gotta get lucky, and keep it...legal

Great idea! I'll try that, too!

I used to use the autopilot all the time.  I have a habit now of hand-flying (even with heavies, unless it's a long haul of course), but I still use the autopilot to maintain altitude during cruise and climb just to make things a bit easier.

There are some aircraft that can only be flown autopilot! I choose to fly 'planes that don't have one, or at least don't have one for real. Like codered, I like to use my hotas skills, the Saitek is a joy to use, only problem is the spring centering, I wish there was a way to disable it.

So pilots get paid to sit on their asses on a flight to austraila while the autopilot does the work and they occasionly check stuff

I live in St Louis Missouri, so its pretty boring terrain. I prefer to fly out of Washington state or Alaska/N Canada

Looks like that 'Of course' is leading at this moment. And Georf, you're kinda right.
