No Flap Sounds...

I noticed that on two add-on planes (RealAir Cessna 172 and a Cessna 150) that my flaps were raising and lowering silently.

I found there were no sound files for flaps in the aircraft/sounds file so added a Cessna 182 sound file for flaps.

Can someone point me to a line of text in the CFG file that would give the command to the sound file ?     There are two possibilities that (1) these planes never had sound for the flaps or (2) more likely, that at some stage they have "disappeared themselves ." as seems to happen to me occasionally.

It's in the sound cfg file of the ac.

Here's the entry in question for the default C-172

[FLAPS]
filename=c172_flaps
initial_volume=8700

The "file name" would be the flaps sound wav in the aircraft's sound folder.

You realise that you really can't hear the flaps in a C150 or C172 unless the engine is off and you don't have a headset on right?

Thanks Joe, that's exactly the sort of thing I was looking for..will go and research it.

Chompers makes a good point though, never really thought if it like that, but wouldn't that also apply to my C182 and all my military props ?    I suppose that's taking it to total reality.
