My God I tired of waiting!!!!!!

Postby alankusa » Fri Oct 15, 2004 6:36 pm

I hope that someone out there can please tell me why it is taking so long for someone to come up with a program that does the same basic thing as Lago's FS Maint did in FS 2002,  for FS 2004. This is one program add-on that really took Flight Siming to a new level.  Don't get me wrong I really enjoy FS9 a lot and as Private Pilot  in real life it in my opinion is a great training tool. But I would also like the added element  the FS Maint provided. If anyone has any thoughts regarding this or suggestions of a similar program. I'd like to hear from you.

Is that where you have to get your aircraft repaired if you have a heavy landing or bend a wing tip or whatever?..........that's just putting it simply of course ::)

Yup thats the one. FS Maintenance Lago's program was great for FS 2002 . I just wish that I could get a similar program for FS 2004.

There's a package at Flight Factory-Simulations that has such a thing.

The best thing about FS9 is that if you prang your plane, MS gives you a brand new one. What's more, you don't have to pay for it. Give LAGO their due, they do wonderful work, but please don't ask for more money than MS asks for FS9.

I think what Logjam means is that we already spend money on Fs9, LAGO maint will mean we'll have to spend more money on repairing aircraft (not literally), lol  ;D

I'm reading logjam's comment to mean that he feels that Lago's product is too expensive relative to the cost of the simulator to start with.

Try Alert!! Pro. It's similar but not perfect. It'll work with any plane but you have to setup for each plane in a database. The website below has some aircraft files but not a whole lot.
