What's the call sighn for the default carrier?

Postby Anti-Societys Snake » Sat Oct 16, 2004 12:01 pm

I need it because the one I downloaded (uss lexington) is badly done, it has  arrester cables but they don't work (Like an airplane having tailhook in the model, but not one in the air file)

I need to practice my landings, and oobviosly, can't do that without arrester cables.

Is there a carrier built into FS9 w/ arrestor cables?  I'd heard there was one off the coast of California, but haven't been to see for myself.  I didn't think it would have cables though.

Search for--accvall3     It has 5 or 6 carriers placed around the world with ils/gs.    Insert this line in the aircraft.cfg

[TailHook]
tailhook_length=4            ;(feet)
tailhook_position=-15.0, 0.0, -1.0      ;(feet) longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum
cable_force_adjust=000.900

Avsim has the gauges    rcbco-11.zip

Install these and you can catapult  launch and cable arrest from any strip,,carrier or grass field or paved strip.

I hope you know how to install the aacvall files in your
addon scenery file. Good luck....Jaybe

Hanzaki: One more thing. When you  click to change airports look at the bottom right of the dialog box and click search addon scenery. There you will find all your newly installed carriers. Highlight one and go flying.
