"edit aircraft.cfg files"......ummm how?

Hi
New to all this chaps so please be patient!
Just downloaded new panels for the 777 but have to in order to operate the radio.
How on earth do you do that??
Any help would be much appreciated!

To edit Aircraft CFG's you need to open them into a text file ....... Right Click on the CFG and open with NOTEPAD. You can then edit any parameters that you wish ..... Remember to back up the original just incase you don't like the changes.

excellent , once you start playing with the config parameters the sky is the limit , have a look on simv in utilities for add ons like jet exhaust heat shimmer by nick among others and see what is available - there is an install basic guideline comment in fs2004 general , topic engine heat shimmer effects . enjoy simming  8)
keep thy airspeed up lest the ground shalt surely come from from below and smithe thee!
