Hi cybersurf.
First of all there is a great tutorial there in the HELP section.
# make a database of your FS scenery (this will appear to you the first time you open FSnav)
# Download SID and STAR database (for more accurate departures and approaches).
After those procedures for flight planning:
choose your aircraft ( with the aircraft button)
choose your airport departure by clicking PLAN there is the SID/STAR section in the upper right corner.
Then choose your departure runway (this tool I find most helpful when I fly with ATC online)
after that go the database again and choose your destination and runway.(you choose them by right click and then "to flight plan"
After you've chosen departure and arrival go to the upper left corner and click on Navaid to Navaid or high alt or low alt.
The generate route will appear in the MAP window.
Then you can alternate your route by clicking and changing your waypoints in the map.
Go to EXPORT in the PLAN win dow inorder to export the plan to your FS flights.
In the left corner of FSnav there is your autopilot (personally I use the simulator AP to fly )
There are much much more options there, you can find them in the HELP section.
Anyway my Yahoo MEssenger ID is TOBOSARUL you can find me there and I can help you more if you wish.
