Always being the skeptic, I think they're fakes. I don't think there's a computer out there today that could handle that kind of detail in a Flight Simulator. Not to mention that I think that Hughs in shots 3 and 4 is a FS2004 addon model.

Am I the only one here who thinks that the folks at MS would have grammar skills sufficient enough to understand that "Passion for fly" makes no sense?

Also, why would MS host said shots on a subdomain of a webhost who "specializes" in FS sites?

where did you coem across this.. would like to check it out... seem very fake both the slogan and the fact that MS is usually very strict about early release screens and stuff..

but whom ever made the shots I'd like to know what machine he's running and that sort of tech stuff...

Looks like a Japanese knock off to me. Who else would make such a grammatical error? "Passion for Fly" my ar*e! Next we'll see "Fly Simulator Sex" or "FS6 - May in Tokyo." Ya!

FS2006 is expected to be using the new XML version of Directx anyway, so no-one on earth could have any in-game pics, except perhaps a handfull of developers, then they would not be in any detail greater than FS9 anyway.

But wouldn't it be something if the next sim did have scenery like that. Can't really see it though - I think they'll concentrate on other priorities as flying low and slow is a rather specialised activity.
