My airport looks bare!!!! Help

Postby Silver_Stick » Fri Oct 08, 2004 12:43 pm

Hi, I juist joined this forum and I took a look in the screenshot forum and I noticed that mosty of the airports had a lot of traffic there. I don't have much traffic in my airports and I moved my slider to 100%! If I'm lucky I get about 3 Boeings in places like Pearson, O'Hare and Seattle-Tacoma, which just isn't realistic.

I also noticed that people had different airlines in  their AI traffic and I only get default airlines. Are there any programs I can download for free because I want my airports to look more lively than what they are. Please help me figure out why I don't get traffic.

Thank you

Project AI is decent. I used to have it but will be going with ultimate traffic payware soon instead.

But for what it does, PAI is a good enough program considering its free

Thanks a lot for that help. I'll be visiting that site in a minute but first I'd like to say thanks for your help. One other question I have though is if the Project AI traffic is easy to install and how do i do it?

Thats a bit odd though.  At Seattle (KSEA) with 100% AI I get far far more than 3 aircraft.  I must have at least 10-15.  I have no AI addons so this is just default!

If you mean you only see writing above three of the aircraft I think thats ok.  The writing only appears once they start to move I think.

Project AI is like any other compiler if I am using that term correctly. It takes some getting used to but in time it works

PAI is beyond sufficient.  I personally love it.  As for ease, it takes some getting used to, but once you've got it, you'll breeze through it.
Great edit, Bob.

Google it.

Don't forget, the best thing about PAI is: it's free!

Download the files, read the short readme, and you'll be adding traffic VERY easily! :-)

There is virtually no file moving at all, and it really brings the airports to life!

Be careful of adding a lot of AI traffic unless you have a really super computer.... particularly the cpu/fsb and RAM.  It can really kill framerates.

best,
