Aw cmon - I'm usually the first to jump on anything like this - but this one's pretty innocuous.
Firstly - he tells you in the ReadMe that he's gonna swap your opening splash and says to make a backup.
BUT
SURELY YOU HAVE LEARNT BY NOW - NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER UNZIP ANYTHING STRAIGHT INTO YOUR FS9 FOLDER.
How many times does this have to be posted on these forums before the message gets through. DO NOT DO IT.
I have a folder c:\aircraft. I unzip everything to that folder and manually copy stuff over from it. If I want to I make a backup of my existing GAUGES or EFFECTS folder(s) before I copy stuff over. That way I am protected if things don't work out, I don't like the aircraft or want to remove it again for any reason.
Same if it has an autoinstaller. NEVER TELL AUTOINSTALLERS WHERE YOUR FS9 FILE IS. Most are made by stupid people and are too stupid to find it for themselves. So install into c:\aircraft and you'll get a nice little set of folders that you can copy stuff over from again - in this case it includes one called uires (surprise surprise).
COPY from these folders and then immediately run the deinstaller or deinstall via Control Panel. Then you're just left with the aircraft and all the bits you need in your FS9 folder and you don't have rubbish left in your Registry.
If you don't follow procedures like these you deserve EVERYTHING you get. They and similar things have been discussed SO MANY TIMES ignorance is not an excuse.
And designers - AUTOINSTALLERS SHOULD BE BANNED IMHO
