Hi .........although there is a folder for the De Havilland Dash 8-100 in my FS9 Aircraft folder there is no such aircraft in the drop down list on the Select Aircraft section in FS9. Anybody know why this could be?  :(

Thanks for any suggestions you might have to offer :)

I think all default AI aircraft do not show up in the drop down menu of your aircraft selection.  Since the Dash 8, MD-80 and the Piper were never intended to by flyable, they do not show up in the aircraft drop down menu.  You can find fixes in the aircraft downloads here and at other website to make the Dash 8, MD-80 and Piper flyable.  If you want to fly them though there are other addon aircraft that would be better options, both freeware and payware.  SGA/FFX MD-80 series come to mind, and there is a Dash 8 out there that looks pretty good also.  All freeware. ;D

PSS make a great payware Dash 8, and Aussim, Dreamfleet, and Carenado make great payware Pipers.  I don't know if there is a Payware MD-80. ;D

Thanks codered...I hadn't realized it wasn't supposed to be flyable as it seems just like the cessna etc. folder set up. Not that I really wanted it you understand but  just happened to notice it in there.

Thanks again for your trouble. ;D
