Hello everyone,
Besides the planes that come built in with FS9, what is everyone's favorite, most realistic airplane?

Most realistic plane in my opinion is the PMDG Next Generation 737, though it is payware.

Is the 340 pro also payware? Where can I buy both of these aircraft?

Aussim Warriors Payware - not much can go wrong with a Piper. Simple systems, simple operation....
Real Air's Cessna 172 - Freeware. Same deal simple.
Sometimes (there are exceptions

) the more complex the aircraft gets, the more corners that have to be cut in FS9 to get it to seem as real as possible. PMDG's 737 probably is as real as it can get in FS9 when it comes to complicated systems.
The most complicated part about the the Aussim Warrior is you cannot start the aircraft cold, unless it is primed first. Now that is realism.

I must also put in the nod for the Fanda Dash-8-300 which is freeware, the flight1 DC-9, and the 747-200 Ready for Pushback. Now, the default 747-200 had a corner cut in terms of the INS system but you can download the CIVA Delco Carousel INS package from simufly.com and there is a panel.cfg available for Ready for Pushback that's configured to use the Civa package and it is very accurate.

Most realistic plane is Ready for pushback v2 (747-200), no doubt about it.
After that, it's a toss up between SSW A310 and PMDG 737, but they are far from the complexity RFP offers.

For me it has to be my RAF Vulcan (payware)
JustFlightThe sound, look and handling of it just seem really true to life.
I also tried it using a friends Force Feedback stick the other day, after half an hour of flying, my hands hurt

I'm sure much better ones out there, that one's just my favorite at the mo'
Getting JustFlight's Dash 8-300 Professional soon, maybe that will be even better

Cheers all,
Carl out.....
