Is this in the MD-11 only or all a/c?

If MD-11 only, is there a GPS icon on the main panel? If not,  try pressing Shift+3, or 2 or 4, or....(on the keyboard, not the numpad). This action toggles the various panel windows, as defined in the panel.cfg, i.e Shft+1=main panel, Shft+2=radio stack....etc. The order may vary depending on the panel.cfg file.

If that doesnt work, or if all a/c, which one did you d'load, zip file name or location, so it can be checked out.

Cheers,
Dave

i think this aircraft may not have a gps...

there is a way to add it, modifying the panel.cfg file a bit...

open the panel.cfg file (located in the panel folder of your aircraft)

under [window titles], see if there is a line for GPS

if there's not, here's how to add it:

first of all backup your panel.cfg so you can fix things if something goes wrong...

write in a new window in that section, give it a different number than the other ones (e.g.  if the last line was window03=whatever, call yours window04=GPS...)

then open the panel.cfg of a plane that does have the gps... the default 737 for instance (b737_400 folder), open it's panel.cfg and scroll down until you find the GPS window section... (default 737's GPS section is under [window02])

copy the whole section (including the title) and paste it into the first panel.cfg, (paste it after the last window section, before the [vcockpit] section)
remember to change the section title number to the same number you gave to the line under [window titles]

now save the file and open FS...

you can open the gps now by pressing shift+#
(# being the gps section number plus 1, i.e. if you called your section window03, you will find the GPS by pressing shift+4)

hope this helped, if not, at least you have your old panel.cfg backed up, right?  ;)

Found it at evair.com, md-11.zip

from the panel.cfg:

[quote][Window02]
Background_color=0,0,0
size_mm=320
window_size_ratio=1.000
