How to print a flight screen in FS2004?

Postby mitscher » Tue Sep 14, 2004 3:46 pm

Just wondering, how do I take a screenshot of an aircraft in flight? I would like to get some of my friends interested in FSim2004.  Thanks.

Heya Mitscher --

I use an excellent program called Flightsim Manager by the RanaInside Group.  This is a free multi-function program which will install your aircraft, scenery, diagnose FS issues, clean out gauges, etc.  Its features are too many to list.  It also makes excellent screenshots in JPG and BMP photo format.  You can get it here:

You may want to check it out -- it's very good.  And you can't beat the price!

Get yourself FS Screen.  It's free.  All you have to do is press the print screen button and voila.  You will probably want to change the files you are going to send to your friends into jpg (FS Screen is bmp) so have an art program handy.

For changing the format (and re-sizing) I use PixResizer as I can do several images at once with it.

IrfanView is like Photoshop lite, which is all most people need.
