what does "wilco" literally mean? i heard it so often, i always thought it
that was a very informative post/ answer by me, Mr. Ray_Ban, and i send greetz with it, of course!!!

You beat me to it!!  I was just getting ready to post when I looked and saw that you had the correct answer!  You must be great at game shows!

However, I would have answered:

Wil = Will
Co = Comply

Wil + Co = Wilco

Remember to that "Roger" and "affirmative" mean two different things.

Roger= I understand and will comply

Affirmative = yes

N1234 turn left heading 250 - "roger"
N1234 confirm cancel IFR at this time? - "affirmative" ;D
