Hi all....just loaded up 2004 after a long lay off from '98 and finding it all soooo.... different.

A couple of (maybe) silly questions please to get me moving......first "What is FS9?" and also I have tiny red printing ...cessna..etc moving around in my airspace...I suspect these should be small graphics but not sure.
Lots more to ask but maybe one or two of you guys could help me to get of the ground ;D

FS9 is the 9th edition of Flight Simulator, in other words FS2004

The tiny red print is the IDs and altitudes of AI aircraft

1) Welcome to TheV!! you came to the right place to start out your new adventure!!
2) There are no "dumb" questions, we all start out at one time or another. If you look at some I have asked you should have no worries
3) FS9 is just a short and easy way to say Microsoft Flight Simulator-A Century of Flight

The defintion of a "dumb" question differs quite much from individual to individual me thinks. :)
So there's no reason to bring that up again ;)
