I read from somebody who tooks few lessons in a cessna after a long conversation we came into an a dissagre,he show me a book of procedures of boeing 747-200 just one page were it said
landings parameters ,the landing speed with xxxxx i don't remember the weight but it was the bigest number so i presume its entirelly crowded with people and bagage at the moment of touchdown should be 160 knut, why in fs9 the b747_400 you can stall at 180 full flaps, are the rest of the plane according to the real life landing speed,    anyway the guy wasn't very friendly
and he seem to have problems,he's an a show off, he didn't even let me to see the book or touched with my hand just that page...like if i were a kid im 40
anyway does anybody knows the real standard speed for landing a 747?

It depends on weight, and what version of the aircraft it is

180 to 150 kias is the approach speed

so landing speed is probibly anywhere in between that, depending on weight,

although I found a website that said landing speed is 259km/h which is 185 knots give or take

The aircraft file in FS (the default one) is not really realistic. Dont believe that a real life 747 behaves the same way as the 744 in Flightsim....

Like I wrote in another thread, larger aircraft can't have high landing speeds like 185kts, can you imagine how much runway it would require to stop a 747 going more than 180kts?

Download another 747 is my suggesiton. Personally I like POSKY's 747s :)

While I'm ait it...here's other things I dont like about the 747 in FS (default 747-400)

- Engines react too fast. In real life they require some time to spool up
- Brakes are too efficient compared to real life
- The aircraft loses airspeed like it was a flying cube. but the truth is that the fuselage is very aerodynamic.
And as in all modern airliners, it is difficult to lose airspeed in a descent when the aircraft is in clean config (no flaps, gear, spoilers). However in FS the drag is just too great.
Oh, and add the already mentioned high approach speed  :)

Needless to say, I prefer flying other aircrafts than the default Boeings.

It's all in the manual at:

Please Nexus what do you think if i download all the posky aircraft(at least the boings default) and paste into them from posky the *.air in order to copy the dinamics of flights.or copy all the parameters of wing sustend engine power etc, etc,to make them more realistic according more to a real life planes.See perhaps the posky ones are very good in flight dinamics and closer to a real life planes, but what about their Virtual cockpit,i mean of the default ones
No one could make something like that ,Besides I fly in VC..wating for your reply my friend

please,Nexus im very interested in your reply
i need you to recoment me some model from posky or any else the best dinamics according to a real life aircraft
to edit the default ones(aired)because i fly in VC.......
of what you consider  according to the closest true dinamics
at least the 3 default ones an if you can, give me the name of the zip as they appear

please my friend ,Ill preciate it very much
