DARN FAILURES!

Postby goodfella » Wed Aug 25, 2004 5:56 am

Im having a problem with the failures on FS2004. When I start a flight the failure setting for a random failure in the next 5 minutes is always armed! If I reset the options to no failures armed and click o.k, it still happens!! Is it something stupid Im doing? I just cant find a way to fix this and total electric failure every 5 minutes is really annoying! Pls help.

If this has just started happening, check your recent panel installs.

When it started happening to me I found it was due to a gauge on a Vanguard panel I'd recently installed. It also seemed to affect other aircraft as well as the Vanguard.

When I reverted to my backup gauges file (which I had fortunately) the problems stopped.

Still haven't got round to tracing the problem - pity as I liked the aircraft a lot.
