More Weather ?s

Is there a way for real world weather to not suddenly change. I'll be cruising, some cloud cover, then bam, clear skies. Almost impossible to anticipate bad weather and all. Never really see what's ahead, and never really pass through the clouds, when the METAR updates, it all just snaps from one coerage to another. Is there no way to load several stations at once so you can see what's up ahead?
I have a Reg. Version of FSUIPC and am using FSMETAR. Am I needing payware to fix this?

I might be mistaken but I beleive that there is a setting in FSUIPC that allows for a gradual transition from one type of weather to another. But I no longer use fsuipc & it has been some time since I had a copy. 8)

I have no problems w/ that...how are your cloud draw settings for weather options?

Normally I have my clouds set to 80 miles. I thought that may have been the problem also so I maxed em out. Still the same thing, cloud cover dissapeared, new cloud cover came in.
In the FSUIPC I have it set to try and smooth the weather changes. But still does it. Snaps between different weather schemes from weather station to weather station.
Wouldn't it make more sense though for the METAR programs to load more than just the weather station that you are right on top of. Couldn't it load one also in front of you so you are actually flying into the weather, not having it be updated once you actually fly into the area?

Try this. Go to your "Settings". Click on the "Weather" button under Reality and Weather and set the slider that says, "Rate at which weather changes over time" to Mild. See if that helps.
