Can someone help?!
I installed a nice sound package for a 727. BUT it doesn't have startup and shutdown files.
Can I copy these from the default 737 file? Aliasi or otherwise?

Heya Elkinallen,
I have been modifying different aircraft in MS Flight Simulators for a long, long, time and (I'm not trying to rain on your parade) the hardest thing to do is to re-assign *.wav files for aircraft sounds. You could modify your 727 Sound.cfg file to add these additional sounds but it would be a lot of work.
I have a 727-200 for my FS 2004 and with it I use a Sound package from Eric Cantu called fx7222k2.zip.
An excellent package which includes all default sounds plus startup and shutdown.
You can pick it up here:
http://www.flightsim.com/cgi/kdl/main/53/fx7222k2.zip?ECQ4q002Just click "I Accept -- Start Download"
I hope that this helps.

Thank you!!!!
I tinkered and this is what happened; I copied and pasted the 737 start/shutdown sounds to the 727 sound file. THEN, the stt/sht sounds were there, but no engine run sounds!!! HA! HA! you are right!!!! It is tough!!!
I will look into the 727 file you advised Thanks a million!!!

Glad you like it. I've had a lot of fun with it myself.
You said in the last part of your post that you tried to install an interior?
If you're talking about a virtual cockpit then you're out of luck. The author of the aircraft has to create that and include it into the aircraft package.
If you're talking about cockpit interior views then they're not too difficult to install.
Shoot me an E-Mail or let me know in this forum through private message which interior you are talking about and we'll go from there.
