fs9.CFG......

when you open the folder that contains the fs.CFG file ,should there also be a text document  in there called fs.CFG.txt?...........Air

Looks like it's normal - I have it on 2 completely differnt systems - though why - is a good Q.

FSAutostart is a background application/task killer. You run it and it gives you a list of applications and tasks that are running. You choose which ones you want to shut down and when you hit the Start button it shuts those down and then restarts them when the you quit the sim.

To answer your question, I also have that file in my FS9 folder. Maybe its a backup created by Flight Simulator...

I can't check right now but don't remember seeing that text file. Maybe it's a WinXP thing. ::)

Here's a little tip. Once you've found fs9.cfg create a shortcut to it & paste it to your Desktop. No more hunting.
