FSUIPC

Postby mikec » Wed Aug 04, 2004 2:19 pm

I have just upgraded to 2004 from 2002 and I would like to know if there's any way short of purchasing FSUIPC to control the setting of altitudes ,headings and etc. in the AP. I think it was called controlled accleration in 2002 FSUIPC. It lets you set the the numbers in Single didits  and hundreds instead of jumping 1000 to 2000 and  340 to 350 and etc. I know that one of you gurus out there know the answer to this, so if you'ld inform me I would appreciate it. I have no objection to purchasing FSUIPC if I really need it, but I'ld like to know if there's any other way. I've downloaded several Aircraft that have this problem.  Thanks. Mike Calaway
PS: I've also tried the Freeware  FDS connect and that dosen't fix the problem in all planes.

mikec,

Not sure exactly what you are having difficulty with..... but I do know that FSUIPC and FDCConnect are different and NOT directly interchangable .......in the sense that the software author of a program has to make the software compatible with each of them separately for them to both work.

In other words... FSDConnect does not "mimic" itself as being FSUIPC as far as the program looking for it is concerned.

Not sure if that was clear  ;).

best,

I have FDS connet and I haven't even figured out how to use it yet. It isn't like as easy as fsuipc to use.

If you continue to have problems or questions, why not ask Pete directly.
