Direct X9c and FS9.....

I installed the newly released Direct X 9c the other day and was pleasently suprised.
First off, let me say that I`m running a 9800pro
Last week I installed the new 4.7 drivers and there were no problems whats so ever.
However, what really suprised me is when I installed DX 9c.
For starters it solved a stability problem with my "WinFast" TV card and it is now rock stable under all conditions.
Now for FS9.
Although it didn`t increase frame rates. It now definately runs much smoother particularly under low frame rate conditions. The improvement when flying with massive clouds with real world weather is very noticable .
Also, there is an improvement in speed when switching views in very detailed aircraft, paticularly during initial switching.
There is definately some worth while improvements in DX9c.
I`m very happy with the 4.7driver and dx9c combo.
But it promises to get even better.
There is a 4.8 beta driver making the rounds that is supposed to be optimised for Dx9c and there are reported real performance improvements (higher frame rates) with them.
