The fps you will get depends mainly on your system set-up.  I run FS9 maxed out with AA and AF on @1024x768.  I get 120fps in very low dense areas, and 15fps around very dense areas like Heathrow and similar airports.  It is a matter of tweaking your settings until you have an fps you can accept and an IQ you can accept.  If you can't accept them, then you will need to look at an upgrade for your system, but we will get to that later.

Try it, fly out to a really sparse area like the sea, and look straight up or sometimes down, make sure the fps is set to unlimited and no clouds, the fps will rocket.  Generally my fps is 40, this is over most areas.

Right click on My computer, click properties, copy the information below computer and system down and post that here.  Also click the hardware tab and click device manager.  A pop-up window will appear, click display adapter, that will give you the name of the graphics card.  How to get more info i am not sure of.

The best way to find out what is on your PC is to:

Click Start then Run.

Clear out anything in the Run Command line.

Type in dxdiag (Upper or Lower case does not matter).

Click OK.

A Windows program will run.  The results list absolutely all information on your PC (CPU, RAM, OS, Drivers, etc.).  If you wish to save a copy just click the button called Save Information in the lower right corner.  Name it something simple like "Dxdiag.txt".  This will create a printable text file which you can reference at any time.

Great for when you are thinking of doing hardware or software upgrades.  Also very useful if you are having an issue and someone on this board asks "What are your PC stats?", "What drivers do you have installed?", or "What version of DirectX are you running?"

Well, you probably need a better graphics card. It looks like the one you have is an onboard card, which probably does not have enough power to handle fs2004. I personally have a Radeon 9800 Pro, with a 2.8 ghz processer, 1G of ram, and i can run fs2004 with most of the settings turned all the way up.
