dummy Question why 9 ?

Why FS9 could be "fs100" by the years of aviation or fs10.0 because first fs5.0. ,fs95,fs98,fs2000,fs2002,fs2004and i have the reason that there was and earlier than 5.0.
whats that meaning of FS)..(9)?

Because the previous ones were 1, 2, 3, 4 ,5.0, 5.2, 6(FS98 ), 7(2000) & 8(2002) so 9 is FS2004.

I'm not shame to said without FS9 and don't know what i been doing.I remember a long time ago there was a coin machine from sega it was a game name airseabattle
it was a cockpit that moves with hidraulic stuff I used to spend all my salary in that machine maybe i'd being ruined by today since FS98 came out

There is no quarantee there will be a FS10 or a CFS 4.

It is a big market and unless Microsoft goes bust ( yeah exactly ) there will be a FS10. CFS 4 is more uncertain however.

I'm pretty certain that there will be an FS10. Many people do not have or want to fight wars.  But the amount of people who want to fly the peacable planes is enormous and this includes trainee pilots. It would be a bad finacial decsion on the part of MS not to bring one out. You ask why?

The answer is simple, people have to update their computers, hardware etc and this brings bucks in and keeps the advancing technology of the computer world at the speed its at. Obviously other games do the same, but I think the flying sims are a big hit. Just look at it 9 releases! I can't think of a more successful game.  :)

the earliest FS i have, is fs 4.0...

then there was fs 5.1...

then, fs for windows 95 (6.0?)

then came fs98, 7

fs2000, 8

... fs2002 would be 9  ???

what am i missing here? shouldn't fs2004 be the 10th version?
