Theres is no limit as far as the sim goes.but it could take longer to load the sim if it has as much installed as mine has.thats the only problem i have found by haveing alot of downloads installed.but now your hard drive has a limit.so watch out for that one.

I've taken out all the stuff I don't use and parked them in a "Hangar" file outside FS9 itself. This includes all the History of Flight planes that I've had a look at but which don't interest me. I can always get them back, their gauges are still in the gauges file.
I tend to download stuff just to have a look at it and try it out - if it doesn't appeal I park it for future use.. I think it has improved my loading up time but this point usually gets comments either way from people that know a lot more about it than I do.

Yes thats a verry good idea Bazza.and if i download a plane with gauges i dont put the gauges in untill i have checked the plane out to see if i want to keep it or not cause you can still test fly it by hitting the W key in 2D panel and have the default gauges to fly by.that way you dont have a lot of unwanted gauges when you deleat a plane out you dont like.

When installing new a/c you can put any included gau. files in the a/c's Panel folder, and they will work. That way if you scrap the a/c the gau.files go with it..
If other a/c also need the gau. files you can move them to the Gauges folder.
Cheers,
Dave
