Postby doucey592 » Tue Jul 13, 2004 3:00 pm

Hey guys i have a problem, my brother shut down my sim like I asked him to but he screwed it up somehow and it entered into "safe mode" and all i want to know is how the hell i get it off. It's not affecting the sim all that much except for the views are a little skewed, so i f you can tell me how to fix it I would greatly appreciated.

Lord knows how he did that  :P .

Safe mode is simply an option for Windows to load without any drivers, incase something has gone wrong.

Doucey,

If FS2004 is similar to FS2002, then check on the settings within the sim.

Select Settings, then Display, then Hardware.  On the Hardware page should be a box for "Enable Hardware Acceleration".  Be sure it has a check mark.

Also, be sure your graphics card setting for "Hardware Acceleration" has the slider all the way to the right.

Good luck!

I did not find that option, so i thinkg i am just going to re-install everything, which will take some time, i have a number of aircraft installed on it,  not to mention AI traffic. :(
