What would you recomend to run fs9 with all the sliders move to the right and still get a decent frame rate even in detailed area and clouds. RAMS, video card, CPU and such the like? thanks for any response.

I would recomend win xp a 3GHz chip,128mb video card and a gig of DDRram.with this you should be able to run any program made at max settings at this point.i am working on getting the 3GHz chip but its allmost $400 dollars at the moment.so it might be a while for me to get it.

I just bought an HP a566n (Back to School Special - Student/Teacher discount) at Best Buy in Florida.  Has 3.0Ghz, 200GHD, 1G Ram with built in video.  Package deal also comes with 15" LCD monitor and All-in-one printer.  Package was $1450.  Upgraded to 17" LCD for package price of $1650.

Most sliders are max'd.  Had to lower a few because I'm still using older monitor and makes me a little sea sick with things wiggling on the screen.  The target frame rate is around 30fps.

Aircraft fly much smoother and realistic than my previous computer (500Mhz, 20GHD,  128M Ram).
Thanks,
Dave T.

Make sure you get the ATI X800XTPE or Nvidia 6800Ultra if money is no object.  These are the latest offerings of graphics cards and are far superior than current ones  ;D
